Gene Tyson & his wife developed The Firebird, unveiling a storefront on 2nd street in Santa Fe, NM. Specializing in wood & gas heating products.Their showroom was 1600sqf with multiple functioning fireplaces.
1984
Firebird ventures into drip irrigation, offering easy solutions for garden watering in Santa Fe's arid conditions.
1995
The Firebird establishes a new showroom & warehouse on Espinacitas Street in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Supplying 4000 sqf of showroom space. The Firebird showcases a variety of displays, and aisles of irrigation supplies.
2020
The Firebird is acquired by The Rentfrow family, and experiences a rebrand & a full remodel of the entire building.
2021
The Firebird launches its third product range; Outdoor Living. Offering luxury outdoor furniture for residential and commercial use.
2025
Rapid expansion in the Outdoor Living sector drives The Firebird to build a second 4000 sqf showroom at their Santa Fe, New Mexico location.
